There are places you’ve never visited, yet somehow miss.
For me, my paintings are exactly that.
A little dreaming is my favorite pastime – in painting, I get to do exactly that: lose myself, rejoice, immerse, and discover.
Oil paints are my favorites; their colors are beautiful, and painting with them doesn’t rush. They dry slowly. It allows me to discover what and how a painting wants to become. Patience is truly rewarded here; in the end, that’s what makes it so valuable.
Personally, I enjoy painting in layers. Each new layer of color overlays and complements what came before. And sometimes, exactly from that, something emerges that I could never have planned.
Painting with oils teaches me that not everything can appear at once – and that’s exactly what I’ve grown to cherish.
And why fantasy ?
I love fantasy because it enchants.
For me, the beauty of it is that imagination opens hearts. It makes possible what could be, if only we allow ourselves to dream.
It gives me freedom without needing to justify myself. Between magic and moonlight, there’s often exactly what cannot be grasped otherwise.
That’s what makes it so special.
